ABOUT THE GHANA INTERNATIONAL MODEL UNITED NATIONS (GIMUN) 2027 AND CAREERS FESTIVAL
The Ghana International Model United Nations (GIMUN) 2027 and Career Festival marks a transformative evolution in youth leadership and professional development in Ghana. Under the theme “Leadership Matters, Citizens Must Act,” the conference combines the intellectual rigor of a United Nations simulation with the practical impact of a comprehensive careers’ festival.
This landmark residential event will take place in Accra on 4th and 5th January, 2027, bringing together young leaders, students, professionals, policymakers, diplomats, and industry experts to prepare participants for both civic leadership and future careers.
As a first-of-its-kind integrated experience, GIMUN 2027 and Careers Festival will host more than 1,000 participants drawn from senior high schools, tertiary institutions, and professional communities across Ghana. The conference is designed to cultivate globally minded citizens who possess the leadership, diplomatic, and professional competencies required to address contemporary challenges and seize emerging opportunities.
The Model United Nations Conference forms the foundation of the event, providing participants with an authentic simulation of the United Nations system.
